Sourcing Policy
The DCM Core Institute operates on a strict primary-source-first model. To maintain scientific neutrality, we completely avoid secondary unverified reporting.
- Institutional Anchoring: All regulatory and monetary assessments reference official documents from the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the European Central Bank (ECB), the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the Federal Reserve, and other G7 central banking entities.
- On-Chain Verifiability: Any claim related to tokenized assets, historical AUM, or transaction flows must be accompanied by verified public smart contract addresses, transaction hashes, or verifiable reserve statements.
Update Cadence
To avoid structural data obsolescence in a fast-paced market, all active registries and monitors published by the Institute are subjected to regular update cycles.
- Live Observatories: AUM tracking dashboards, tokenized treasury reserves, and stablecoin dominance charts are updated dynamically using automated smart contract event listeners and API integrations.
- Monographs & Trackers: Comprehensive research briefs (including the Wholesale CBDC tracker and the DLT Pilot Regime monitors) are audited, verified, and re-published on a quarterly basis.
Verification & Review Process
Before public dissemination, all intellectual output is subjected to a dual-layered review structure ensuring factual accuracy and mathematical correctness.
- Internal Analytical Audit: Authors must submit a complete replication package, containing all primary sources, raw CSV tables, and codebase links used for mathematical modeling.
- Scientific Committee Validation: The final publication draft must be formally approved by our Scientific Committee, guaranteeing that the technical architecture and compliance analyses comply with our institutional standards.
Registry & Dataset Methodology
Our registries, including the DLT Settlement Event Registry, follow a standardized, public taxonomic classification framework.
- Taxonomy Alignment: Settlements are classified strictly by cash leg (CeBM wCBDC, CoBM Tokenized Deposit, or Stablecoin) and asset leg settlement model (Atomic DvP vs triggered clearing bridge).
- Metadata Standards: Every registry page is pre-seeded with Schema.org JSON-LD metadata (`Dataset` and `ResearchArticle`) to allow structured retrieval by search engines and machine learning crawlers.
Corrections & Errata Policy
We maintain absolute transparency regarding errors. If a factual inaccuracy is identified in our publications:
- Errata Log: A formal correction note is appended to the top of the relevant page, outlining the date, the modified text, and the corrected value.
- Version Control: Updated datasets are cataloged with incremental version numbers (e.g. v1.2) allowing researchers to access archive copies for comparative auditing.
