Registry Methodology

Ensuring scientific rigor and institutional standards for global tokenized financial instrument tracking.

Scope of Assets

The Global Tokenized Securities Registry (GTSR) monitors financial instruments that satisfy the following criteria:

  • Asset Nature: Represents a claim on debt, equity, fund shares, or a derivative contract.
  • Infrastructure: Issued or recorded on a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) or Blockchain.
  • Institutional Credibility: Backed by regulated entities or institutional-grade protocols.

Identification Standards

To differentiate from traditional identifiers (ISIN, CUSIP), the GTSR implements a dual-layer identification system:

  • GTSR ID (Database Mapping): A 4-segment alphanumeric code for portal reference. Format: GTSR-[Class]-[Year]-[Seq].
  • TFIN ID (Technical Specification): A global standard linking the instrument's technical and financial metadata. Format: TFIN-[Class]-[Blockchain]-[Year]-[Seq].

Validation Pipeline

Every asset undergoes a rigorous three-level validation process before receiving a "Validated" status.

1

Automated Technical Verification

Verification of the underlying Smart Contract, checking for standard compliance (ERC-20, ERC-3643, etc.) and blockchain activity.

2

Research-Driven Audit

Cross-referencing legal documentation, whitepapers, and regulatory filings to confirm asset claims.

3

Institutional Confirmation

Direct verification with issuers or authorized market infrastructures to ensure data accuracy for outstanding values.

Data Sources & Refresh

The registry aggregates data from:

  • Public and private blockchain explorers.
  • Institutionally curated terminal data.
  • Official regulatory registers.

Frequency: Technical data is updated in real-time. Institutional reviews are conducted on a quarterly (90-day) cycle.
